plum preserves

I’ve been following the ministry of food blog at the Imperial War Museum (& I got to see the show when I was in London). After a giant plum dump from our CSA fruit box, I made jam today. Canning and preserving seem like wartime activities, but nobody’s really doing stuff like that during this war. Food supplies aren’t such an issue when all the bases have Burger Kings.


It’s a beautiful color.
